EVE client getting a boost…again

Having copious amounts of difficulty with Quantum Rise? Some of us certainly are. The lag and crashes have been quite the pain in the arse as of late, but CCP seems to have found a cure. The fix will be released in a new patch, Quantum Rise 1.0.3, sometime in the near future.

Some of the focus includes:

• Overall graphics performance bottlenecks.
• Premium-specific graphics performance bottlenecks.
• UI performance bottlenecks.
• Identifying and implementing user-settings to optimize performance.

As claimed by Mr. Bjarnason, “Quantum Rise 1.0.3 the EVE Online client will be by far the best performing piece of software ever constructed in the entire history of mankind ” I certainly hope so, more so for his sake than my sake since the forums are a dangerous place to make such claims.
